ASME's Power and Energy Conference and Exhibition

As the CEO of Utah's Washakie Renewable Energy (WRE), Jacob Kingston heads the biodiesel-focused business and its group of companies. Jacob Kingston holds membership with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a nonprofit organization that advocates for and promotes the advancement of technologies across all engineering disciplines.

Many of those disciplines will be featured at ASME's Power and Energy, a five-day conference scheduled from June 26-30, 2017, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The annual event highlights technical advances in the engineering industry, as well as ongoing research, development trends, and business strategies, among other topics. There will also be topic-specific workshops and the fourth annual Power and Energy Student Competition awards ceremony.

The five-day event features three full-day conferences focused respectively on power, energy and sustainability, and fuel cells. Furthermore, nuclear and energy-storage forums will focus on recent developments and industry advances. Registrants also receive access to Turbo Expo and the International Conference on Power Engineering, both of which will be ongoing at the Convention Center.
